Balance for Life Basics
Because my goal is to help you be the healthiest and fittest you can be, we require that all clients that smoke, quit smoking within four weeks of their start date of training.
No machines are used the first ten times. This may seem odd to the average person who wonders how they can get in shape and gain muscle without the use of weights. Trust us! We guarantee our techniques, which involve using your own body weight, will challenge you and give you a whole new level of strength you may not have ever experienced, no matter how active you have been in the past.
After the first ten sessions, your strong foundation should be established. This is when we are ready to use equipment to do more advanced exercises that are even more specific to your personal goals.
The personal core training comes as a whole package. Although immediate changes in weight, energy level, and appearance can often be seen within the first few sessions, a minimum of ten sessions at two to three times a week is required for each client in order to establish what we call a strong "foundation" (a stable, strength and balance throughout your whole body). Anything less than this will not give you the maximum results nor teach you the sufficient concepts to maintain your fitness level on your own.
A minimum of ten sessions must be purchased at once. Prices are €50,00 per hour excluding 19% BTW tax Total cost (including BTW) for ten 1 hour sessions is € 595,00
No refunds for missed appointments unless they are canceled 24 hours in advance.
Core Training Concepts
What is core training?
Your core is not simply your abs and back but rather your whole torso including the muscles that attach to your pelvis, as well as hip, shoulder and trunk stability. Core training helps your whole body function beautifully together.
Will core training help me look better? Absolutely! Your posture is one of the key things that changes. You'll walk taller. You'll have a leaner, more athletic look that is unique to core training.
Why has core training become so popular?
In the past, people were more concerned about training muscles in isolation. The problem with that is our body is not designed to work only one muscle at a time. Everything in the body is beautifully orchestrated to work together. Core training provides a more balanced, realistic approach to health and fitness.
How is it different than standard weight training?
Many training programs are based on one-dimensional movements of bodybuilding. Therefore, the hips, torso, pelvis, & lower back are rarely involved. Bodybuilding can build strength but not power (which is the ability to create force behind a movement). Body builders can lift heavy weight without being able to swing a tennis racket with much force. You have to train movements, not body parts.
Core training will help your body react faster and move with better balance. "Not only will you become stronger more flexible, and more agile, you'll also be leaner and more sculpted."
