How It Works
Please contact me to schedule an intake (allow 5-7 days to process
paperwork). If you would like insurance coverage, you must consult
your doctor to request a referral to see a dietician. Please
bring referral to your first appointment.
Before our first appointment, I will have you fill out three forms that include a Weight Loss Readiness Test (if applicable) and a questionnaire about your medical history, current lifestyle, goals, and attitudes. You will also find a journal where you can detail your food intake for at least three days (see Basic Questionnaire, Weight Loss Readiness Test, and Blank Food Journal under downloads). Please e-mail all three Word documents to me at least three working days before our first appointment.
Last minute cancellation: 45 minutes will be charged towards your insurance company for a cancellation less than 24 hours in advance. If your insurance coverage is completed, or if you are paying out of pocket, € 48,75 will be added to your invoice. Appointments are charged from the time it is scheduled to begin, regardless of when you arrive.

Wednesday: 13:00-17:00
Friday: 11:00-15:00
Home visits also possible, outside office hours
Suggested Appointment Schedule* (shown by multiple studies to be effective
in achieving and maintaining goals)**:
- 1st Two Months: Meet every week to every other week
- Next Three to Six Months: Meet once a month
- Up to a Year after that: Meet every two months
- Phone calls are available for individuals who have had at least
7 one-on-one appointments
Please allow about 1½ hours for the first intake and 1/2 hour to 45
minutes for follow-up sessions.
*“The literature suggests that weight loss and weight maintenance
therapies that provide a greater frequency of contacts between the
patient and the practitioner and are provided over the long term
should be used whenever possible. This can lead to more successful
weight loss and weight maintenance.” (ADA Vol 98 No. 10 October 1998).
Experts agree that the more consistently and the more frequently
an individual works with a dietitian, the more success they will
have, and the longer they will have it!
**Because my objective is to help you create permanent lifestyle changes,
it is recommended that you work with me for a minimum of four sessions
(one initial consultation and three follow-ups).
